圣. 路加福音’s 剧院 Company put on a production of “Distracted” by Lisa Loomer on Jan. 19和20. The show is about navigating the trials and tribulations of ADHD in children. The Advanced Acting class shared a controversial topic with grace, wit, and compassion. A Q&A followed the Friday night performance, w在这里 the cast shared how they prepared for multiple roles. Hannah Johnson '24, who portrayed two characters, modeled an understanding doctor after her personal experiences with learning specialists and a disgruntled third grade teacher after a combination of educators over the years.

"SLTC has always felt like a family to me because of its intimacy,” Johnson said. “We, the ensemble, trust each other enough to tackle the difficult subjects we choose to perform. I am really going to miss acting with them when I graduate this June."

“团队合作, musicianship, and pure joy were displayed by our choir students at this year's Winter Choral Concert,”  said Choir Director Beth Woelflein. “Grades five through twelve performed songs from ‘Pure Imagination’ to ‘Livin' On A Prayer’ to ‘Sisi Ni Moja.’ Watching the various ensembles was delightful; each brought a unique flair to the stage. Students could appreciate each group's hard work while seeing the evolution of choirs from Middle through Upper School. What a powerful gift!”
